Water Framework Directive

The Environment Agency has been working with others in the South East River Basin District to develop a shared understanding of our water environment. It wants to propose ways in which all concerned can work together to agree and carry out actions to preserve and protect this vital resource.

The Environment Agency is inviting as many people as possible to study the proposals set out and to give their views.
